How Our Process Works

Step 1 - Place Your Order

Start by selecting reserving your spot or selecting a piece you would like us to create (tray, cross, block, hexagon, etc.) and placing your order online. Your order reserves your place in our preservation calendar and allows us to prepare for the arrival of your flowers.

After ordering, you’ll receive instructions explaining exactly how to care for your bouquet until shipping or drop-off.

Step 2 - Care for Your Flowers

Fresh flowers preserve best when they stay hydrated.

Until you ship or deliver them:
• Keep stems in clean water
• Store in a cool room
• Avoid direct sunlight and heat

If your flowers begin to wilt slightly, don’t panic, many blooms can still be beautifully preserved.

Step 3 - Ship or Deliver Your Bouquet

We accept both local drop-offs and shipped flowers.

Local (North Texas)

You may arrange a drop-off appointment after your event.

Shipping

Package your flowers as soon as possible after your wedding or service (ideally within 1–3 days). We provide packing instructions so your bouquet travels safely.

Step 4 - Intake & Consultation

After your flowers arrive safely at our studio, we confirm receipt and carefully evaluate their size, condition, and variety. We then contact you to review your preservation options together.

During this consultation, we discuss your preferences, layout ideas, color considerations, and display style. We will recommend the most suitable pieces based on the flowers themselves so you do not have to decide everything in advance.

This step ensures your final keepsakes are designed intentionally and allows us to answer any questions before preservation begins.

Step 5 — Flower Drying & Preparation

After our inspection and consultation, we immediately begin the preservation process.

Each bloom is:
• individually separated
• gently cleaned
• placed into a controlled drying process

This stage takes several weeks. Flowers slowly lose moisture while retaining their natural shape and color as much as possible. Because flowers are natural materials, some color changes are normal and expected.

Step 6 - Design & Layout

After drying, we design your piece based on our intake form and consultation.

We arrange the preserved flowers into a balanced composition that highlights the most meaningful blooms from your bouquet. Our goal is not simply to “fit flowers into resin,” but to create a keepsake you can cherish for years to come.

If your piece includes specific requests (roses centered, ribbon included, special flowers featured), we incorporate them here.

Step 7 — Pouring, Sanding, Finishing & Polishing

After the design is approved, the pouring process will take several weeks.

After curing, the piece is:
• removed from the mold
• sanded smooth
• sealed with a final protective topcoat

This step gives the finished keepsake its glass-like clarity and smooth edges.

Step 8 — Completion & Delivery

When your piece is finished, we inspect it one final time and carefully package it for pickup or shipping.

You’ll receive photos before shipment and tracking information once it leaves our studio.

Total turnaround time is typically 6-9 months due to the drying and curing process. We never rush preservation, patience is what protects your flowers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my flowers look exactly the same?
Flowers are natural materials and will change during drying. Some colors deepen, soften, or become vintage in tone. This is a normal and beautiful part of preservation.

What if my flowers arrive wilted?
We can often still preserve them or offer to replace them. The sooner they arrive, the better the results, but slightly wilted flowers can still produce a meaningful keepsake.

Can I include memorial items (photos, ribbons, charms)?
Yes. We can often incorporate small meaningful items. Be sure to advise us if you plan to ship and include additional items so we can be on the lookout for them.

How long does preservation take?
Typically 6-9 months. Drying alone takes weeks, and the resin curing process cannot be rushed.

Can you preserve artificial flowers?
Yes - silk, faux and wooden flowers can also be sealed in resin.
